Introduction
Welcome to Pathly, a faith and emotional wellness app designed to help you navigate life's challenges through spiritual reflection and scripture-based guidance (the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by Pathly (the "Company", "we", "us", "our"), registered contact: support@mypathly.io.
Please carefully read the following terms and conditions (the "Terms" or "Terms of Use"). By accessing or using the Service in any way, or by registering as a user, you agree to be bound by these Terms and confirm that you have read and understood them. If you do not agree to the Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to the use of the Service and any content available within it, accessed by any means including smartphones and tablets.
Use of the Service requires an active internet connection. You are solely responsible for any costs associated with your data or connectivity plan.
About the Service
Pathly is a faith-based emotional wellness app powered by artificial intelligence. The Service works as follows:
- You complete an emotional check-in by selecting an area of life and describing your emotional state
- The AI asks follow-up questions to better understand your specific concern
- You may type freely or select from guided options during the conversation
- The AI identifies your concern and proposes a relevant scripture from our curated database, based on the scripture library you selected during onboarding
- You provide feedback on whether the verse was helpful, which we use to improve recommendations
Your conversations with Pathly's AI are processed in real time. We do not retain full conversation transcripts. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
PATHLY'S AI DOES NOT POSSESS HUMAN JUDGMENT OR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. IT OPERATES BASED ON PATTERNS IN DATA AND MAY NOT FULLY GRASP THE NUANCES OR COMPLEXITY OF YOUR SITUATION.
THE SERVICE IS NOT, AND IS NOT INTENDED AS, A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLING, THERAPY, MEDICAL ADVICE, OR RELIGIOUS COUNSEL FROM A QUALIFIED AUTHORITY. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL FOR ANY MEDICAL, MENTAL, OR HEALTH-RELATED CONCERNS.
IN CASE OF A MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY OR CRISIS, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES OR A CRISIS HELPLINE IMMEDIATELY.
Age Restriction and Eligibility
PATHLY IS NOT INTENDED FOR USERS UNDER THE AGE OF 12. IF YOU ARE BETWEEN 12 AND 18, YOU SHOULD USE THE SERVICE WITH PARENTAL AWARENESS. BY USING, ACCESSING OR REGISTERING WITH THE SERVICE, YOU DECLARE THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 12 YEARS OF AGE.
We reserve the right to terminate a User Account if we find that you are younger than the minimum age specified above. We may request additional information to confirm your age at any time.
